Post-Operative Contact Information
In the event that you need to contact us regarding post-operative questions, concerns, or complications of any type, please call the office directly between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. During business hours we can generally make arrangements for you to be seen promptly if desired. There is almost always a doctor present in the office. If your needs are not emergent, we will try to schedule you with the doctor who did your surgery. In almost all situations, it is appropriate to contact us rather than your referring Dentist or Doctor, Urgent Care, or your local Emergency Department. If you feel you have a life threatening emergency, you should call 911 immediately.
If you are a patient of record with our office and have a situation requiring you to speak with a doctor outside of normal business hours, please contact Boone Hospital Center and tell the page operator your doctor’s name and that you need to get in touch with the doctor on call for our office. There is always a doctor on call for our office who typically can access your record remotely when needed.
If you do not get a response within 30 minutes, please continue to contact Boone Hospital Center until they are able to get in touch with our doctor on call. Occasionally, there are problems with cell phone reception resulting in difficulty answering calls. Boone Hospital Center has alternative phone numbers for our doctors and ultimately can contact a different doctor when needed, so please be persistent in these rare circumstances.
